The Pussy Trap Page 7

“I don’t know what you talking about, man.”

Kayson shot him in the kneecap and the lame screamed like a bitch. “I’m going to ask you one more time, where is the money?”

“In that green Range Rover, man. Just stop shooting me. Shit, I don’t even know why the fat man wants Rabb dead.”

Kayson walked over to the Rover, busted the window, and grabbed the envelope between the seats. He walked back over to guy who had just given him the information and blew his brains out. Then he walked over to where the other two lay and put three more bullets in each of them to make a point. Pulling his hood over his head, he walked off like nothing happened. People looked on in horror.

Kayson’s next move was to get to the head nigga’s house, Fat Sam. He pulled up to the address registered to the woman whose name was on the tags. The same car he saw him get into earlier was parked in the driveway. All the lights were out, so he crept around the back of the house and found a window open on the first floor. He climbed in nice and easy. When he approached the room, he heard what sounded like a woman moaning.

Kayson eased to the door and peeked through the crack and just as he thought, Fat Sam was deep in some pussy. He pulled out his gun, busted in the door, and shot him two times in the back. Sam had fallen to the floor crying like a bitch. The woman screamed.

“Shut the fuck up!” Kayson yelled as he smacked her in the head with the gun.

“What’s your beef with Rabb?” Kayson asked with his teeth gritted.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Fats said, laying there in agonizing pain.

“Do I look like a muthafucka that would have the wrong address?” He shot him in the kneecap. “I got shit to do. I don’t have time to play one hundred fucking questions with you.”

“Damn! Aaahhh . . .” Sam cried. The woman was scared as hell, up against the headboard crying hysterically and holding onto the sheets for dear life.

“Tell him what he wants to know,” she yelled.

“Shut the fuck up, Carmen!” Sam managed to yell while in excruciating pain.

  Carmen yelled, “It was J-Bone.”

Kayson’s eyebrows tightened and his nostrils flared. J-Bone was his uncle’s right arm. With that, he took one last shot at Sam shooting him right between the eyes. Carmen pissed herself. When Kayson turned his attention back to her she said, “Wait. Please, don’t kill me. I told you what you needed to know.”

“Bitch, we at war and you know what you are?”

“What?” she asked crying and shaking.

“A casualty.” Kayson spat then put one bullet in each one of her eyes. “Next time see no evil, bitch.” He put his hood over his head and left out the same window he came through. Reaching the nearest pay phone, he called his uncle at the spot.

  “What’s up, Unc?”

“Nothing nephew. What’s up with you?”

“Ain’t nothin’. Headed your way. Is everybody there?”

  “Yeah.”

Hold them until I get there. I got something to tell y’all.”

“A’ight. Yo. Jay, make sure everybody stays put. Nephew got something for us,” he heard him yell out.

Kayson hung up and headed to the spot. When he arrived, he gave the secret knock and was let in by Butchie, the doorman. He gave him some dap and headed upstairs. Walking through the door with a serious look on his face, one his uncle had never seen on him before made him a little concerned.

Rabb was seated to the right of the table. Everyone else was seated to his left. Kayson moved his eyes across the room and when he got to J-Bone, he pulled out his gun and shot him in the middle of his forehead. Everybody jumped up and ran toward J-Bone. “What the fuck is wrong with you?” his uncle yelled out.

Kayson looked at him then pulled out the envelope of money and threw it on the table.

“What the fuck is this?” Rabb yelled as everyone else was stunned at what had just happened.

  “Bounty,” Kayson spat.

“What the fuck are you talking about? How the fuck do you know that?”

“I just so happened to overhear the plan and watched the exchange. But don’t worry; I took care of all that.”

“Why didn’t you call me or let me in on what the fuck was going on?” Rabb was getting agitated because, his best friend was over there leaking.

“Look, we can exchange whys all night. However, if I didn’t put a hole in those niggas, I’d be digging one for you. Send somebody over to Rosedale Projects to take over their block. Them niggas is shell shocked right now. We need to move on this shit quick.” He turned to walk away, pausing to say, “Unc, meet me at our spot in three hours. We need to restructure.”

“Where the fuck are you going?”

Kayson turned around and smiled. “To get some pussy. Killing them muthafuckas made my dick hard.” Then he went down the stairs and out the door.

Kareem went over to Rabb and asked, “Who the fuck do he think he is?”

“The boss,” his uncle said with pride all over his face.

“Take a couple of dudes and head out to Rosedale Projects. The rest of y’all get rid of this nigga. Watch y’all back. I’ll get at y’all later.”

That day defined who Kayson is and was going to be, “The Boss”.

  Chapter 9

  The Meeting

It was the middle of summer and the block was bumping with cars playing the latest hot shit. The corners were full of runners hustling around trying to make their daily quota. In the front of the local corner store, several niggas were hitting some dice and others were smoking blunts and talking shit. Coming down the street was an all white on white Navigator. When it pulled up, one would have thought Moses had parted the Red Sea. Niggas started getting on point like their life depended on it. It was Kayson, ‘The Boss’ as they called him.

Wise kicked Aldeen. “What the fuck, man?” Aldeen turned and saw Kayson parking and stood up and made everybody get back to work. Kayson didn’t come down unless it was all business. He had put in enough work that his presence wasn’t needed, and if he had to come out, a muthafucka was definitely in trouble. He didn’t use any phone for anything; he just showed the fuck up whenever necessary.

This day, he was trying to find out why the name KoKo was ringing in the streets like she was the next big thing. Kayson stepped out of the car looking like GQ was doing a photo shoot on Lenox Avenue. He had on white linen Armani Exchange suit, with a three quarter sleeve shirt. The length allowed him to show off his platinum watch on one arm and a platinum and diamond barrel bracelet on the other. The one ring he wore on his pinky was platinum with black diamonds. On his feet, he wore Mauri gators. When he stepped out of the car, his 6’3” frame moved like he came with theme music. That muthafucka was suave as hell and now being twenty-four, he had really grown into his manhood. His mocha skin was smooth and even. He didn’t have to speak much because those hazel eyes would stare fire into a man’s soul. As he approached the corner, he was checking out the surroundings making sure shit was running like it was supposed to. He walked right up on Aldeen.

“Muthafuckas must be rich already, huh?” He was referring to the dice game he saw going on.

“Nah, Boss, just trying to pass a little time,” Aldeen answered in his lazy ‘I’m high as hell voice.’

“That wasn’t a fucking question,” Kayson spat back, giving him that death stare. Aldeen was crazy as hell, but he didn’t fuck with Kayson because that nigga was two kinds of crazy. Aldeen gave everybody a look as if to say get to work. Just then, KoKo came out the building and stood on the corner adjacent to them. She was sporting a pair of loose fitting jeans, T-shirt, tan Timberland’s, and a vest. She wore her hair in a ponytail and had a harder bop to her walk than the niggas in the crew. KoKo was now seventeen. Over the last couple years working with Wise and Aldeen, she had become a beast and because of her fearless attitude and natural mind for business, they had her in charge of several areas in Brooklyn and the Bronx. She stoppe
d at the gate and looked around. She had never met Kayson, so she didn’t know why all of a sudden the atmosphere had changed.

“Yo, are y’all muthafuckas working or what? I ain’t running a gotdamn babysitting service. Do some shit or get the fuck off the block.”

Niggas got busy doing whatever their job was. People were coming up whispering in her ear trying to let her know the daily count and that Kayson was present. She looked up and spat on the ground and headed toward Kayson and Aldeen.

“Who the fuck is that?” Kayson said to Aldeen.

“That’s KoKo,” Aldeen said with a smile. He was interested in what Kayson was going to do next.

“We got a fucking dyke out here running shit?”

KoKo could hear him, so she answered the question. “I eat a lot of things, but pussy ain’t one of them.” Aldeen busted out laughing because he knew that shit was getting ready to get real interesting.

  “Is that right?” Kayson responded.

“Does a bear shit in the woods?” She put her hand out then said, “I’m KoKo.”

Kayson put his hand out to make the introduction. “Well, I’m Kayson, the Boss.” Neither one of them blinked.

Then KoKo said, “Oh, that’s what they call you?”

“They? What you mean by ‘they?’” Kayson quickly responded.

“I’m just saying. The way I see it, we work in goods and services. You provide the goods. We provide the service. If you didn’t have us, you would be out here yo’ damn self-hoofing and sweating. So my motto is, Fair exchange ain’t no robbery.”

Kayson looked at Aldeen. Aldeen shrugged. “So wait a minute, if I ain’t the Boss then who the fuck am I?”

“You are going to have to do some soul searching or some shit for that one.”

Kayson had to laugh. He could not believe that here he was going back and forth with a bitch, and she worked for him. What the fuck is going on? He couldn’t get mad because she was a female version of him just like Aldeen had said. All he could see was that with a little training, he had a fucking pit bull on his hands. Kayson didn’t know what to say next. But whatever it was would have to wait because what happened next definitely let him know that this little bitch with the mouth was going to be his number one.

As Kayson stood there trying to see what his next move should be, he saw a guy with a crazy look in his eyes approaching. KoKo had the nigga pegged from the corner. It was Ike and he was always trouble. The frown mark on her forehead was deep and her eyebrows rose. Kayson was wondering why her attention was now totally diverted. Then he realized that this nigga must be a problem. He positioned his hand behind him where he kept his nine, but this day, he wouldn’t need it.

“Yo, what the fuck is up? I told you what I needed and when I needed it, and you just fucking a nigga around,” the guy approaching yelled out.

Kayson was getting ready to say something, but Aldeen touched his arm as if to say, “Watch this.”

“Don’t even worry. She got it,” he whispered.

“Muthafucka, I told you that my office hours are from six to nine. It’s 4:30. I don’t talk to you muthafuckas a minute before,” KoKo growled at him. This was KoKo’s favorite line from The Five Heartbeats, she had adapted to her program, and when it was violated, a nigga was in trouble.

“Bitch. What the fuck you think this is? Your office hours! Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit.”

“You see a bitch, you slap a bitch.” KoKo spit on his brand new sneakers. And looked at him like nigga what?

Ike moved under his shirt as if he was going to grab for a burner. In one swift movement, KoKo stepped in front of Kayson, pulled out her nine, and shoved it into Ike’s mouth. At the same time, she grabbed him in his collar and swept his feet from under him, knocking him to the ground.

She kneeled over him. “Now, as I said muthafucka. I don’t talk business until six o’clock. Now, what’s stopping me from blowing your muthafuckin’ head off?”

“Nu . . . ttttthing,” Ike tried to get out as blood ran down the sides of his mouth.” He was scared as hell. That nigga had his hands up in surrender, sweating, eyes popping all out his head.

  “You muthafuckin’ right.”

  Boom!

KoKo blew Ike’s brains out all over the sidewalk. Looking over at her goons, she gave the nod and they got Ike out of there in thirty seconds flat. Two dudes picked him up as a van pulled up to the curb. They put him inside and then replaced her gun with another one and were gone. People looked on in fear. She kept two cleaning dudes nearby for shit like this. They came pouring solution and spraying water, cleaning the area within minutes. It was like nothing had ever happened. KoKo put her gun in place, looked at Kayson and said, “Now, you were saying something about being my boss.”

Kayson was impressed, but had to say something about that dangerous move she just pulled with him out there. He looked her in the eyes.

“Don’t ever pull no shit like that again with me out here,” he said.

“Well, you better let me know when you coming. ‘Cause around these parts, I’m the Boss. Anything else? I got a business to run. You’re holding me up.”

Kayson had a confused look on his face. Didn’t she know who the fuck he was? He made a note just then that he was going to make her submit. I’m holding her up. Yeah, all right, first chance I get I’m gonna hold them legs up on my shoulders and fuck the shit outta her.

“That’s all for now.” Kayson looked over at his right hand man, Aldeen. “Bring her to me later.”

“No problem, Boss.” He turned to KoKo and said, “Be ready when they come to get you.”

She smiled at him and said, “As long as it’s not between the hours of 6 and 9.”

Kayson chuckled, shook his head, and walked toward his car. He figured that he had been in the hood one minute too long.

Aldeen walked over to KoKo. “You gotta calm your ass down, yo.”

“You might be right. But today. Ain’t the fucking day.” KoKo spat on the ground and walked off.

“Yo, I’ll pick you up at 9:30,” Aldeen yelled out.

KoKo put the peace sign high in the air and said, “Indeed,” and kept on walking.

Wise came over to Aldeen and said, “That was some crazy shit.”

“Hell yeah, that bitch is fearless,” Aldeen said, thinking about what Kayson was going to do. “She’s what Kayson needs to handle these next missions.”

“What do you think Kayson is going to do when he get her up to the house?” Wise asked.

Aldeen smiled then answered, “Nothing today, but if I know my nigga like I think I do, he’s going to make her call him the boss.”

  Later that evening…

It was 11 p.m. Aldeen, Wise, Baseem, and KoKo were just arriving at Kayson’s mansion. He lived outside the city in the ‘burbs. The gate opened and they drove up to the house. When they got within twenty-five feet, the garage opened up and it led to an underground parking area.

KoKo was impressed. It was some straight up Godfather shit. They exited the vehicles and headed for an elevator right by the parking spot. All the way up, everyone was quiet as hell. KoKo was starting to wonder what type of visit this was going to be.

When they got to the second floor, the doors opened, but no one got out. Baseem put his arm in front of the doors so they wouldn’t close and said, “Take a left and go straight. Have a seat. He will be right with you.”

KoKo looked at them. “Where the fuck y’all niggas going?”

Aldeen smiled. “Sheeeeit. He wanted to see you. We about to go chill. Catch your happy trigger-finger ass later.” Wise cracked up.

“Fuck y’all. You know how I get down,” KoKo stated.

Baseem looked at her with that evil ass sneer. He was the type of nigga that never smiled for shit. “Get your ass out the way. I’m about to go downstairs and get my dick sucked. You cock blocking. Now take your I-don’t-give-a-fuck ass down the hall and sit the fuck down,” he said, giving her a little shov
e.

“Yeah, all right, the last muthafucka who shoved me can’t wear hats.” She heard laughter ring out as the elevator doors shut, and then KoKo walked down the hall. It was dark and quiet as hell. Is this a set up? Shit, this nigga better come correct or it’s on. I ain’t going out like no sucker. She sat on the couch admiring the artwork and sculptures that were all around. The aroma of leather and air freshener filled the air. She was sitting there for about thirty minutes when Kayson came out from fucking nowhere.

“Damn, I almost busted a cap in your ass. You can’t just sneak up on a bitch.”
